We want to tell you the story of a group of friends who like to tell stories…
Advaita Film is a film production founded by producer and director Gianmarco D’Agostino, after more than 15 years on the set, filming and producing documentaries, fiction and creating communication campaigns.
Advaita Film has two true callings:
– develop and produce original projects for movies and documentaries,
–crafting beautiful video-making, multimedia contents and entire communication for government bodies, public authorities, and charities.

Advaita Film Srl was founded in Florence in 2015, to develop and produce films, documentaries, institutional communication and campaigns for charities and social advancement in Italy and all over the world. We are world people.
Something from our portfolio: all the multimedia contents of the new Museo dell’Opera del Duomo di Firenze, curated by Mons. Timothy Verdon and visited every day by thousands of visitors; the documentary with archive footage Fotogrammi dalla Grande Guerra (Frames from WWI) commissioned by l’Università degli Studi di Firenze; the introducing mini-documentary for Museo delle Storie di Pieve di Cento; the religious art exposition Spirito Creatore crafted for the Community of Jesus of Orleans, MA. (USA); the documentary La nostra Storia parla di Futuro it’s a documentary for the 25th anniversary of Fondazione CR Firenze; the video-clip Praga from young song-writer Chiara White.
The first feature documentary, Camminando sull’acqua , about the tragic events of November 4th, 1966 when a flood devastated Florence, comes with outstanding and unreleased color footage, is his first independent film. The film has been selected to more than 40 international film festivals, winning several awards, including Best Director, Best Documentary and Audience Choice Award.
What’s next? A romantic comedy Prendiamoci una Pausa, written with award-winning novelist and screenwriter Matteo Bortolotti; a documentary Florence, the Consul and Me, co-produced with German KickFilm, the investigation of the reasons that led a Consul of the Third Reich to act against orders and risk his own life to save people from torture, deportation and death; the documentary Tutto il Mondo, piano piano, set in Bangladesh, where Rudy and Alex moved to help homeless children. Two Italians and a charity to build schools where poor children could receive education and healthcare.
